WYC High School Ranks 15th best high school in the state of Arkansas
Western Yell County High School receives a Silver rating on the national level from U.S. News and World Reports. Along with the Silver rating, WYC was ranked as the 15th best high school in the state of Arkansas. Ratings are based on a three step process:
1. Overall student performance on state tests
2. Performing better than the state average for the least advantaged students
3. Performance on college-level Advanced Placement (AP) exams or International Baccalaureate (IB) exams
